I loved working with Dick Boren. Buying a house can be a complicated process, but he made it as easy as possible. He would respond to e-mails within minutes, and he was part realtor/part handyman, so during the inspection whenever we had a concern regarding fixing something in our house, he would tell us exactly what we needed to do to fix it. He went above and beyond and I highly recommend him.

When we first met with Dick, our first reaction was "This guy is going to sell us a house?" We were more than impressed. He listened when we went on a first outing to what we did and did not like, put together a great list for the second outing, and was very helpful with the bidding process. He is laid back and has a sort of "if this isn't the place, we can keep looking" attitude. But when the bank was not returning our calls or giving us the run around... Dick got them back on track. I have heard horror stories of home buying, and Dick just made this so much less stressful than I had initially imagined.

I can't imagine having a better experience. Dick has such a vast wealth of knowledge, we didn't run into a situation he couldn't immediately fix, and we did run into some situations that had to be fixed. I never once had a phone call unanswered or a email not replied too. My process was a bit more complicated being a HUD home with VA loan with EEM attachment during the government shut down, but yet Dick still streamlined the process and made it less painful. Dick was EXCELLENT! I don't even know where to begin describing how wonderful of a home buying experience we had with Dick. The service he provided was the best service I've ever experienced ever. He was extremely knowledgeable about anything that is related to home buying process. They were open to feedback, listened, and addressed all of our concerns. When we finally put our house on the market, they went as far as to help us landscape the front yard! They were actually in our yard, with rakes and shovels, doing the work! Once we had accepted an offer, Dick and Melissa handled everything from beginning of escrow to end, including hiring (with our approval), overseeing, and assisting contractors to do repair work. They are very hands-on, and I highly recommend them.
